"HIBISCUS LEI"
18x24 – Acrylic Painting
COMMISION ARTWORK
-
Dedicated to Joann and Levi Mareko.
A flowing strand of hibiscus blooms in warm tropical colors, representing love, connection, and the joy of island unity. Each flower adds its own beauty to the lei, symbolizing moments, relationships, and the shared warmth of Polynesian culture. A vibrant reminder of the heart and harmony found across the Pacific.

"TEUILA (Red Ginger Flower)"
18x24 – Acrylic Painting
COMMISION ARTWORK
-
Dedicated to Teuila Hughes.
A bold portrait of two red ginger flowers rising against a dark background, honoring the Teuila — Samoa’s national flower. Their vibrant reds and layered petals celebrate heritage, strength, and the fiery spirit of our people. This piece reflects identity and pride through one of the most beloved symbols of Samoa.

"TEINE SAMOA"
18x24 – Acrylic Painting
COMMISION ARTWORK
-
Dedicated to Sia Tau
This piece captures the quiet strength and beauty of a Pacific Island woman peeking from behind a lush leaf, her hibiscus bloom symbolizing femininity and cultural pride. It reflects the softness, mystery, and natural elegance carried by Samoan women — a reminder of how island beauty speaks even in silence.

"Colors of Anthurium"
11x15 – Acrylic Painting
COMMISION ARTWORK
-
Dedicated to the Honey family, Lati and Vai Honey.
Inspired by their beloved home in Hawai‘i, this piece is surrounded by the vibrant beauty of anthurium flowers—radiant reds, soft whites, gentle pinks, and subtle touches of green. Hawai‘i, often celebrated as the “Anthurium Capital of the World,” is where these blooms flourish, just like the warmth and love that fill their home.

"LEIGAGA'S HIBISCUS"
18x24 – Acrylic Painting
COMMISION ARTWORK
-
Dedicated to my beautiful grandmother, Leigaga.
This piece honors the cherished bond she shared with our neighbor, lovingly called Tutu (Hawaiian for grandmother). Between our family land and Tutu’s home stood a white hibiscus bush—a living symbol of their friendship. It was there, beneath its blossoms, that Grandma Leigaga and Tutu would meet, exchange stories, and nurture a connection as timeless as the flowers themselves.

"SIVA AFI"
18x24 – Acrylic Painting
COMMISION ARTWORK
-
Dedicated to Tavita.
A master of siva afi (fire dance), he has shared this powerful art across Samoa, Hawai‘i, and throughout the islands of the South Pacific. More than a performer, Tavita is a teacher and culture bearer—passing down not just the movement of fire, but the stories, discipline, and spirit of the tradition. His legacy shines as brightly as the flames he dances with, igniting pride and inspiration in every community he touches.

"TAUPOU"
18x24 – Acrylic Painting
COMMISION ARTWORK
-
Dedicated to Tabitha and Leone.
As the taupou—the daughter of a High Chief—she embodies the pride of her family and village. Performing the Taualuga, her graceful movements bring the celebration to its close, honoring the guests with dignity, beauty, and tradition. Her dance is not just entertainment, but a living symbol of heritage, respect, and cultural pride.

In November 2025, I had the honor of being featured in ARTIO Magazine, an international art and culture publication that highlights artists from around the world. This issue included an interview about my creative journey, my Samoan heritage, and the heart behind my work.
ARTIO showcased several of my floral and island-inspired pieces — including my Heliconia Rostrata, Teuila (Red Ginger), Hibiscus Lei, and Anthurium series. These paintings are deeply personal to me, reflecting the colours, memories, and beauty I grew up with in Samoa and Hawai‘i.
Being included in ARTIO Magazine during Art Week Miami 2025 was a meaningful milestone in my career. It allowed me to share not only my art, but also the culture and stories that shaped me. I’m grateful for the opportunity to represent the Pacific in a global space and create work that helps others feel connected to home, even from far away.
